We Want to Be Flexible
Life happens. Plans change. We get it. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible as possible while still being fair to our technicians, who block out time in their schedule specifically for your booking.
The earlier you let us know, the better we can accommodate you — and the less likely any fees apply. When in doubt, just contact us. We will always try to find a solution that works for you.
Free Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your appointment: completely free, no questions asked.
- No cancellation fee. No rescheduling fee.
- If you pre-paid, your full refund is processed within 3–5 business days.
- Applies to all standard bookings with more than 24 hours' notice.

Late Cancellation (Under 24 Hours)
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a fee of 50 AED applies.
- This covers the cost of the technician's reserved time slot and travel.
- Applies to all standard bookings.
- The cancellation fee itself is non-refundable.
- If you pre-paid for the service, the balance (minus the 50 AED fee) is refunded within 3–5 business days.
No-Show Policy
If our technician arrives and cannot access the property, or you are unreachable, the full service fee is charged.
- Our technician will attempt to contact you by phone and WhatsApp before leaving the property.
- We will wait up to 15 minutes and make at least two contact attempts.
- If you had a genuine emergency, contact us as soon as possible and we will review your case individually.
Rescheduling
Moving Your Appointment
More than 24 hours before
Reschedule for free to any available slot. We will always try to accommodate your preferred new time.
Less than 24 hours before
A rescheduling fee of 25 AED applies. This fee is waived once per customer every 90 days — just let us know it is your first late reschedule and we will take care of it.
Emergency Bookings
Same-Day & Emergency Services
Emergency bookings — same-day jobs dispatched within 2 hours — are non-cancellable once confirmed.
This is because a technician is dispatched immediately upon confirmation, often dropping or rearranging other work to get to you quickly. We appreciate your understanding.
If your emergency resolves before the technician arrives, please call us immediately at 800 031 10015 and we will do our best to assist.
Refunds
How Refunds Work
Cancelled within the free window (24h+ notice)
Full refund if you pre-paid. Processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
Cancellation fees
The 50 AED late cancellation fee is non-refundable. The balance of any pre-paid amount is refunded within 3–5 business days.

If We Need to Cancel
Service Disruptions on Our Side
We take our commitments seriously. In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule due to technician unavailability, here is what happens:
Standard advance notice (> 3 hours before appointment)
- We will notify you at least 3 hours before your scheduled time.
- You receive a free reschedule to your preferred date and time.
- As a thank you for your patience, you will receive a 10% discount on that rescheduled booking.
Same-day emergency cancellation
- We will do everything we can to arrange a replacement technician for you on the same day.
- If a replacement is not possible, you will receive a full refund of any pre-payment.
AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Clients
If you hold an Annual Maintenance Contract with European Technical, the scheduled visit and cancellation terms in your individual contract apply. AMC terms may differ from the standard policy above.
