Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at europeantechnical.ae and the home maintenance and technical services provided by European Technical LLC(“European Technical”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (Trade License No. 2542059). By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1. Agreement to Terms

By visiting our website, submitting a booking enquiry, or engaging European Technical to perform any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are booking on behalf of a business or third party, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or engage our services.

2. Our Services

European Technical LLC provides professional home maintenance and technical services in Dubai and Sharjah. Our service categories include, but are not limited to:

  • Air conditioning installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair
  • Plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Electrical installations, fault-finding, and repairs
  • General handyman and home repair services
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Appliance installation and repair
  • Deep cleaning and specialist cleaning
  • General home renovation and fit-out works

All services are carried out by vetted, experienced technicians. The specific scope of work for each booking will be agreed with you prior to commencement. We reserve the right to decline any request that falls outside our areas of expertise or that poses a safety risk.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Bookings can be made via our website, by telephone, or through our customer service team. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written or verbal confirmation from European Technical, including the agreed date, time, and scope of work.

Standard bookings require a minimum lead time of 2 hours from the time of booking to the scheduled appointment.

Emergency and same-day services are available subject to technician availability. Same-day availability cannot be guaranteed, and emergency call-outs may attract an additional surcharge, which will be communicated to you before the booking is confirmed.

You will receive a reminder notification prior to your appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure that access to the property is available at the agreed time.

4. Pricing & Payment

European Technical is committed to transparent, upfront pricing. Where possible, a fixed price or estimate will be provided before work begins. For complex or unknown-scope jobs, our technician will assess the work on-site and provide a quote prior to commencing.

An invoice will be issued upon completion of the service. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice unless a credit agreement has been separately arranged in writing.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (AED)
  • Credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Bank transfer (details provided on invoice)

All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate will be included in the invoice where required under UAE VAT regulations.

We reserve the right to charge for additional materials or unforeseen labour where the scope of work materially changes after the initial quote. Any such changes will be communicated and agreed with you before additional work proceeds.

5. Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the result of a completed service, please contact us within 7 days of the service date. We will return to assess the issue and, where the dissatisfaction is due to our workmanship, we will carry out the necessary remediation work at no additional charge.

This guarantee applies to the labour and workmanship performed by our technicians. It does not extend to:

  • Issues caused by misuse, accidental damage, or third-party interference
  • Pre-existing conditions or faults not related to our work
  • Parts or materials supplied by the customer or sourced at the customer's request
  • Normal wear and tear following completion of service

Manufacturer warranties on parts and materials supplied by European Technical are subject to the terms of the relevant manufacturer.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To enable us to deliver services safely and effectively, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing clear and safe access to the property and the specific area where work is to be carried out
  • Being present at the property during the appointment, or ensuring that an authorised adult representative is present and able to give instructions and sign off on completed work
  • Removing or securing personal belongings, valuables, and fragile items from the work area before the technician arrives
  • Disclosing any known hazards, pre-existing faults, or relevant conditions at the property that may affect the safety or scope of work
  • Ensuring that children and pets are kept clear of the work area during the service
  • Providing a safe working environment that complies with applicable health and safety standards

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in the service being delayed, postponed, or charged at the full rate even if work cannot be completed.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours before the appointment: Free cancellation or rescheduling. No charge applies.
  • Less than 24 hours before the appointment: A cancellation fee of AED 50 will apply to cover technician allocation and transport costs.
  • No-shows: If our technician arrives at the agreed location and cannot gain access or contact is not made within a reasonable time, the full service charge will apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

European Technical LLC takes care to ensure all work is carried out with reasonable skill and diligence. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable UAE law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage arising from pre-existing defects, faults, or conditions at the property that were not disclosed to us or were not reasonably discoverable prior to commencement of work
  • Damage to or loss of customer property or belongings that were not removed from the work area as requested or reasonably expected
  • Any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of enjoyment
  • Delays or failure to perform services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, acts of God, government restrictions, road closures, or other force majeure events
  • Work carried out in reliance on incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer

In all cases, our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content published on the European Technical website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, service descriptions, pricing structures, and design elements, is the property of European Technical LLC or its content licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of website content for reference purposes is permitted provided that appropriate attribution is given.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. The way we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is incorporated herein by reference.

By using our website or booking our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent changes were made.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our website or services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
