Professional Water Tank Cleaning Services in Dubai
Dubai Municipality requires water tanks to be cleaned at least once a year, and for good reason - sediment, algae, and bacteria accumulate in storage tanks, especially in Dubai's heat. European Technical cleans and disinfects overhead and underground water tanks for villas, apartment buildings, and commercial properties. Starting at AED 300, most residential tank cleaning takes 2-3 hours.
About Our Water Tank Cleaning Service
Our water tank cleaning follows Dubai Municipality guidelines. We start by draining the tank completely using a submersible pump. Once empty, our technicians enter the tank (wearing PPE) and scrub all interior surfaces with brushes and approved cleaning solutions to remove sediment, algae, slime, and mineral deposits. We inspect the tank for cracks, corrosion, and damaged fittings - any issues are documented and reported. After scrubbing, we rinse the tank thoroughly, then fill it and add a measured dose of chlorine for disinfection (sodium hypochlorite at 50ppm, per DM standards). The chlorinated water sits for a minimum of 2 hours, then the tank is drained and refilled with clean water. We test the final water quality with a portable test kit to confirm chlorine residual, pH, and clarity meet standards. For buildings requiring a Dubai Municipality compliance certificate, we arrange for an approved lab to take samples and issue the report. We also inspect float valves, overflow pipes, and tank lids for proper function and security.
